Custom homebuilder sells T-shirts to benefit local Marine Corp veteran severely injured overseas
July 19, 2014
Marine Cpl. Jason Hallett was one month into his first deployment when he lost both of his legs above the knees, his right arm above the elbow, and the thumb and middle finger on his left hand in an IED blast in Sangin, Afghanistan, on Oct. 23, 2010.
Hallett, a native of Denver, has returned to his roots in Colorado and plans to build his life in Windsor, where he is receiving a custom built home by NoCO Custom Homes.
NoCO Custom Homes, a local and veteran owned and operated custom homebuilder in Fort Collins, was selected to build the custom home for Hallett through the national non-profit, Homes for Our Troops. The home will have the custom accessibility needed for Hallett to live comfortably.
To assist Hallett with the furnishing of his new home, NoCO Custom Homes is raising funds by selling custom T-shirts. With the help of sponsorships from local companies Pro Forma Big Dog Branding and Mad Prints, NoCO Custom Homes has already sold over 150 "NoCO Supports Cpl Hallett" T-shirts.
Community members are encouraged to purchase T-shirts at $20 each, all proceeds going directly to Hallett. The T-shirts are a 50/50 blend, run in sizes XS-XXL and can be ordered online at http://www.nococustomhomes.com/shirts.
