The fee for a Colorado drivers license will increase $1 to $27, beginning July 1. Other fees will not change.

According to a release form the Colorado Department of Revenue, the increase is meant to offset the cost of Division of Motor Vehicle driver services, as a result of House Bill 1415.

For more information about fees, go to colorado.gov/dmv/driver-license-and-related-fees.

The Colorado Division of Motor Vehicles encourages people to use its 18 different online services, including driver license renewal. The online services are available at MyDMV.colorado.gov.
