A 57-year-old Evans man died Thursday in a traffic crash in Windsor.
The crash happened about 1:35 p.m. when Keith Bergsrud was traveling east on Eastman Park Drive. He went off the roadway at the intersection of Howard Smith Avenue and struck a tree. He was pronounced dead at the scene, according to a news release issued Saturday by the Weld County Coroner's Office.
Bergsrud is the 42nd person to die so far this year on Weld County roads. Through this date last year, 54 people had died.
