The organization has raised just under $16,000 and needs $18,000 to buy the cat transport van. Friends of Ferals raised the money through grants, private funding and crowdfunding with LoveAnimals.org and has until May 30 to raise the additional $2,000.

Northern Colorado Friends of Ferals has fixed nearly 3,700 cats in Larimer and Weld counties in five years.
