Fundraiser for special needs pageant set for April 26

Staff reports

The Colorado Angels Pageant is hosting a bus to Black Hawk for its fundraiser April 26. The cost is $25 for the bus ride, prizes and games on the way and a day at the casino with vouchers and free drinks. The bus will make pickups in Greeley (9:45 a.m. at the northwest side of the old Kmart building, 2400 29th St.) and Loveland (park-and-ride at Interstate 25 and U.S. 34).

According to a news release from the pageant, tickets are needed to reserve a spot. All proceeds benefit the second annual Colorado Angels Pageant, a special event designed specifically for children and young adults with special needs. This year's pageant will be held Aug. 2 at Mountain View High School in Loveland.

The Colorado Angels Pageant is a non-competitive pageant where everyone is a winner. All participants will receive a crown, sash, T-shirt and goodie bag. This pageant is free to the public, and everyone is invited. For more on the pageant, go to
