Greeley Stampede taking reservations for camping
May 31, 2017
The Greeley Stampede is taking reservations for public camping southwest of the Events Center in Island Grove Regional Park, 510 N. 14th Ave.
This new addition to the Stampede comes in response to several requests over the years, according to a news release from the Stampede. Campers will have easy access to the park during open hours.
The campground includes 18 25-foot by 50-foot spots, each large enough to accommodate an RV. Nine premium spots have electricity access. Reservations include a one-day parking pass for each reserved day and an RV parking pass. Reservations require a minimum of two consecutive days. Discounted passes are available for the full 12-day event.
"We are excited to be offering a camping opportunity to the community," said John DeWitt, general chairman of the Greeley Stampede, in the release. "Guests can now experience the Stampede in a way they haven't been able to before."
Reservations are recommended and can be made by calling the Stampede office at (970) 356-7787 from 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Monday-Friday. For pricing and more information, go to GreeleyStampede.org/p/camping.
