High Hops Brewery wins seven medals at Las Vegas International Beer Competition

Windsor's High Hops Brewery started out American Craft Brewers Week Monday with seven medals from the Las Vegas International Beer Competition.

The Noble One – a Belgian Quad – won double gold. Inspired lemon Pilsner The Golden One, strong Scottish ale Windsor's Wee Heavy and milk stout The Dark One all won gold. Dr. Pat's Double IPA won Silver. The Power of Zeus — a hoppy pale ale — won bronze, according to a news release from the brewery.

Additionally, the following beers brought High Hops four medals from the Denver International Beer Competition two weeks earlier: The Dark One; gold; Windsor's Wee Heavy; silver; The Golden One; silver; and Dr. Pat's Double IPA won bronze.

High Hops Brewery started two and half years ago as part of The Windsor Gardener at 6461 State Highway 392 in Windsor.

The brewery began shipping beers to South Dakota in December and will begin selling beers in Nebraska in June, according to the release.
