Hunting Works for Colorado will hold regional partner meeting in Johnstown on Wednesday

The Hunting Works for Colorado partnership's meeting will be at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday at the Liberty Firearms Institute, 4990 Ronald Reagan Boulevard in Johnstown.

According to a news release, the meeting will update current and potential partners on the work and mission of Hunting Works for Colorado. The group was formed to highlight the role hunting and shooting sports play in the heritage and economic health of Colorado.

The group will meet in classroom No. 1.

Pat Martinez, a retired biologist with the Colorado Department of Wildlife; Pete Nichols, a biologist and owner of Northwest Pawn Inc.; Mark Leslie, the northeast regional manager of Colorado Parks and Wildlife; and Andy Treharne, Western States director with the Congressional Sportsman's Foundation, will speak at the meeting.
