OBITUARY: John ‘Johnny’ Henry Jacoby

John 'Johnny' Henry Jacoby, 47, of Windsor, died May 18, 2015, in Windsor.

Johnny was born May 29, 1967, in Greeley to Harry and Bernice (Hettinger) Jacoby.

He graduated from Windsor High School, lettering as the football manager. High school was just the beginning of several more decades of attending just about every Windsor High School sporting event he could. Johnny also spent countless hours cheering on the Denver Broncos, Nebraska Cornhuskers, Jeff Gordon in NASCAR and the CSU Rams. He raised money for and participated in the 28 Hours of Hope, MS Walk and the Relay for Life. He was a member of the Windsor Lions Club. Johnny will always be remembered as the unofficial "mayor of Windsor" because he knew more people than anybody in town. He especially loved hanging out at the fire station with the fire and ambulance crews.

Johnny is survived by his brothers, Dave (Kendra) Jacoby of Windsor and Mark (Kristen) Jacoby of Windsor; and nephews, Devin Caffee, Kylan Caffee, Zach Jacoby, Erik Caffee and Luke Jacoby.

He is preceded in death by his parents.

Visitation was held from 5-7 p.m., Thursday at Marks Funeral Chapel, 9293 Eastman Park Dr., Windsor.
