Oct. 5: Teen night (‘80s night). A fun, safe environment for teens to spend their leisure time on a Friday night for grades 6-8, student ID required. For more information, call (970) 674-3500. At the Community Recreaction Center, 250 N. 11th St. $5 at the door.
Oct. 8: Kids Club at the recreation center. On early release days transportation will be provided to the recreation center from the Weld Re-4 elementary schools. There will be a variety of activities including climbing wall club, science club, arts and crafts, gym activities, movies and more.
Oct. 26: Haunted House at the recreation center presented by the Student Leadership Advisory Board. 6-7 p.m. will be the family hour (friendly for all ages) and 7-9 p.m. will be the scary hour (not recommended for young children.) $2 at the door.
Oct. 30: Senior Halloween party at the recreation center. Students from the University of Northern Colorado will host this free Halloween party for ages 55-plus at 11:30 a.m. Lunch is provided and plenty of activities will be available. Costume contest with prizes. Sign up by Oct. 19.
Oct. 31: Community Halloween Party at the recreation center 6-8 p.m. Fun games and safe treats for everyone sponsored by the Windsor Police Department and the Windsor Optimist Club.
