JP Langellier, with Fine Tree Service, chainsaws through the trunk of the large plains cottonwood tree had been a focal point at Windsor’s Main Park for years. A recent loss of a large limb from the tree and an ensuing inspection revealed several major defects, which could cause similar failures in the future. According to a news release from the town of Windsor, many of the branches in the canopy were dying and the tree was showing signs of decline.
