Philip Daily, a World War II veteran, sits Friday in front of a B-17 Flying Fortress at the Fort Collins–Loveland Municipal Airport, 4900 Earhart Road in Loveland. Daily served as a tail gunner during the war. The Collings Foundation invited veterans to the airport Friday for a chance to share their stories and spend time with World War II-era planes. The foundation is a nonprofit organization that maintains the aircraft and sponsors educational demonstrations. For more information about the foundation, go to http://www.collingsfoundation.org.
