WINDSOR — The Wizards picked up a big home win in a dual against Roosevelt thanks to a spate of forfeits beating the Rough Riders 49-15 despite losing four of 10 contested matches.

Roosevelt's Angel Rios and Ethan Hays started the match right for the Rough Riders with wins at 106 and 113 pounds, and Roosevelt also picked up sudden victories at 126 and 145 pounds.

Windsor got pins from Dominik Serrano at 120 pounds, Cody Eaton at 132 and Chris Sandoval at 138.

Windsor 72, Holy Family 21: In Windsor, the Wizards won every dual match they didn't forfeit except one to roll over Holy Family on Thursday.

Windsor's 106-pounder Boden Baker pinned Holy Family's Adam Bartoletta in just 51 seconds, and Wizards 132-pounder Dylan Wood pinned Holy Family's Joe Szymanski in 1:10.

The closest matchup of the night came in the final 182-pound match, as Holy Family's Alejandro Barron topped Windsor's Shane Sorrentino in a 16-14 decision.

Windsor scored a tepid eight points in the first quarter of the matchup, then gave up 24 to Holy Family in the third quarter.

Windsor junior Kirk Relford managed a potent 18 points for the Wizards thanks to a trio of 3-pointers, 3-for-3 shooting from the line and four rebounds.

Senior Jake Hammond added 13 points and three rebounds.
