FOR WINDSOR NOW

The Windsor/Severance Robotics Club visited Snaptron, Inc. and toured its facility in Windsor on March 27.

Club spokesman Scott McBride said it was a great event, and Snaptron made a nice donation. He said the three teams would like to thank Snaptron for the opportunity to tour the facility and learn about the company.

"Additionally, we would like to thank Snaptron for their sponsorship and support," McBride said.

The teams are working to raise more than $25,000 to help attend their competitions. To sponsor or support the teams, contact McBride at (970) 214-6758 or email wsmsrobotics@yahoo.com.

Donations also are accepted at Windsor State Bank into the Windsor/Severance Robotics Club account. Sponsorship opportunities can include names on team T-shirts, robots, signs and other promotional material.

The Highlanders and Robo Wizards will represent Colorado at the World Festival this month with hundreds of teams from around the world. The Whippersnappers will represent Colorado at the California Open in May, with 71 teams from across North America.
