Summer concert series kicking off June 8

Windsor's Summer Concert Series will begin June 8 with Stolen Winnebagos
The Town of Windsor, in partnership with Kaiser Permanente, Bank of Colorado and Poudre Valley REA, will begin its Summer Concert Series on June 8 and it will continue through Aug. 10 at Boardwalk Park, 100 N. 5th St.
All concerts run from 6:30-8:30 p.m. Thursdays and will include a variety of music, bands and local food vendors, according to a news release from the town of Windsor.
The Summer Concert Series includes:
» June 8: Stolen Winnebagos, classic rock covers, following the All Town BBQ at 5 p.m.
» June 15: Colorado Swing, big band swing.
» June 22: Sean Curtis, country.
» June 29: Steve Manshel Band, variety dance.
» July 6: Town Mountain, Carolina string.
» July 13: Pandas and People, alternative rock/folk.
» July 20: Quemondo, Latin/salsa.
» July 27: Kasey Tyndall, country.
» Aug. 3: The Nadas, rock.
» Aug. 10: Cowboy Dave Band, honkytonk country.
Windsor also will host a Crafty Corner and Cornhole League, both new to the town this year. At each concert, staff will have a free activity for children ages 3 and older at the Parks, Recreation and Culture Department tent, according to the release.
Teams of two are invited to sign up for the June or July Cornhole League at $20 per team for ages 21 and older, according to the release. Teams will compete in a weekly bean-bag toss tournament.
Also new this year, the Clearview Library Foundation will host the concert series Beergarden, serving up High Hops Brewery beer at every concert, according to the release.
The concert series is sponsored by Aims Community College, Digipix, Clearview Library Foundation and High Hops.
