This week’s Law & Order features a booby trapped attic and a motorized scooter driving on 15th Street

Booby traps:

On Oct. 23 at 4:57 an officer responded to a call from the 1100 block of Founders Circle, where a woman reported she believed a burglary was in progress at her house. She explained that the attic access panel in her closet, which must be pushed and slid to the side like a ceiling tile, had been left open. She said she closed panel and set a "booby trap," to show if anyone was trying to open it from above. She did not have reason to believe there was anyone in the attic but the officer checked anyway. There was no one in the attic, and the case was closed.

Rebel without a cause on a motorized scooter:

On Oct. 20 at noon an officer was dispatched to 15th Street and Main Street about a call regarding a teenager riding a motorized scooter in traffic, heading north on 15th. When the officer arrived, there was no scooter to be found.
