U.S. Postal Service prepares for Saturday’s ‘Stamp Out Hunger’ food drive, local donations to benefit Weld Food Bank

Staff reports

This Saturday, local U.S. Postal workers will be participating in the 23rd annual Letter Carriers' "Stamp Out Hunger" food drive, which will benefit the Weld Food Bank.

To participate, residents may simply leave a bag of nonperishable food by their mailbox on Saturday. Those donations will be picked up by local postal workers.

One in six people struggle with hunger in Weld County, according to a Weld Food Bank news release, the mission of which is, "To lead and engage our community in the fight against hunger."
