Weld County Commissioners to hold public meetings about roads

The Board of Weld County Commissioners will hold a community meeting a week from Monday to discuss solutions for road maintenance issues in northern Weld County. The meeting at 6 p.m. Sept. 28 at the Grover Fire Station, 319 Chatoga Ave.

Commissioners Barbara Kirkmeyer, Sean Conway, Mike Freeman and Steve Moreno, as well as Public Works Director Jay McDonald and Public Works Operations Manager Curtis Hall will discuss solutions for roadway issues.

The board met with residents Aug. 10 to hear concerns ranging from road maintenance to traffic.

Since the August meeting, Public Works officials completed repaving several roads in the Grover area and submitted a request to schedule culvert maintenance.
