Weld County Road 21 closed for bridge replacement

Weld County Road 21 will be closed to all through traffic until mid-June while the bridge is removed and replaced.
Mountain Constructors Inc., was awarded the contract to remove and replace the existing bridge with a new precast concrete box culvert. The company will also remove and replace an existing irrigation ditch structure with a measuring flume, construct curb, gutter, sidewalk and replace pavement, landscaping and riprap. Additionally, Xcel Energy will precede bridge construction with boring operations to relocate a main gasline.
