"Our weakness now is inexperience in playing tournament golf. But I'm confident they will overcome that small weakness before the end of the season."

The season is already at its mid-point and they won their first two events and have finished in the middle of the field since their first two matches.

"We're hoping to get another team qualified for the 4A state tournament on October fifth and sixth at Fox Hill Country Club in Longmont," Hammoned said. "We need to win or finish second place in the regional tournament at Quail Dunes in Fort Morgan on September 22. We could also qualify a team to state if we have three or more players that finish individually in the top twenty at regionals as well."
