Windsor Law & Order for April 27

At 5:10 p.m. April 18, police were called to the 400 block of Sorrel Drive regarding the passenger side of a 2001 pickup truck that was keyed with the phrase “I love Obama” scratched in the paint. The reporting party said he had no issues with people in the neighborhood or anywhere else, but he wanted to file the report should there be any other issues in the neighborhood.

MALE SOLICITOR BECOMES RUDE TO RESIDENTS: At 4:31 p.m. and 6:44 p.m. Monday, police were called to the 300 block of Sandy Lane and 1200 block of Brookwood Court regarding a black male becoming belligerent and threatening people. At the Sandy Lane address, the man knocked at the door and said he was collecting money for deprived children to help get them out of gangs. When the reporting party said she wasn’t going to give him any money, he called her names and cussed at her. Apparently the same man was rude and made threats toward the reporting party at Brookwood Court when he said he wasn’t interested in hearing what he had to say. The man was described as being about 40 with short black hair and wearing a white shirt and dark pants.
