Officers determined no criminal activity after reports of kids fighting and running in street

At 9:46 p.m. Sept. 11, Windsor police were dispatched to the 1200 block of Main Street because they received reports of kids fighting. One officer arrived on scene and called for extra cars to help because he had kids running up the middle of the street. Someone spotted the kids running toward Sonic where officers found several kids, however, none were acting up and the officers determined no crime had been committed.

Man slumped over in vehicle turns out to be sleeping while fishing: At 8:39 a.m., Sept. 11, Windsor police were dispatched to Boardwalk Park because a man was slumped over in a vehicle and not moving. While the officer was heading to the scene, the caller reported they saw the person move. The man told the officer he had just fallen asleep while fishing.
