Windsor Police Department looking to hire three school crossing guards before school year begins Aug. 14

The Windsor Police Department is looking to hire three school crossing guards for the upcoming school year, which begins Aug. 14.

Police Chief John Michaels said he needs two regular guards and one backup guard. The pay is about $9 per hour and guards would be needed from about 7:45-8:15 a.m. and 2:45-3:15 p.m. Monday through Friday during the school year.

Guards will working at Skyview and Grandview elementary schools in Windsor.
