COACH:

LAST YEAR:

The Windsor Wizards baseball team claimed the title of conference champions and district champions, finishing the year in the final four. Last season the team managed to achieve a 20-5 record.

KEY PLAYERS:

Mitchell Watson, senior — first base; Zach Watts, junior —first base and designated hitter; Braden Peninger, junior — short stop; Corte Tapia, senior — pitcher; Jared Jensen, senior — third base and pitcher; Jacob Sorrentino, senior — pitcher.

Tapia, Watts, Watson and Peninger are returning all-conference pitchers.

SEASON OUTLOOK:

Deal said this year he hopes the team will be able to compete for a conference championship. The team already has good chemistry and hard working players, he said, but they'll need to keep getting better.
