THIS PAST YEAR:

KEY PLAYERS:

Jake Hardy, senior – defense; Rylan Lemmon, senior – defense; Keiran Joe, senior – goalie; Matt Nesbit, junior – midfield; Tayt Gallatlan, sophomore – attack.

SEASON OUTLOOK:

This will be coach Shigekane's first year coaching the boy's lacrosse team. This past year, the team had its best season with a 12-4 record. The team made the state quarterfinal playoffs.

"We are a young team that will gain varsity experience as the season progresses," Shigekane said. "We will be a force to reckoned with come playoffs."

Shigekane is optimistic about the team's season but also sees room for improvement. He expects challenges with putting in a new offense and having the players gain confidence in themselves and the system.

Shigekane expressed confidence in his team and its upcoming season.

"There's lots of talent and a never-quit attitude," he said.
