Windsor’s annual Chili Cook-off Saturday to benefit Homeless Gear

Windsor’s annual Chili Cook-off will take place from noon-4 p.m. Saturday at Austin’s Homestead, 1600 Pelican Lakes Point.
The event will benefit Homeless Gear, to help homeless people with supplies while they survive on the street. Prizes from local businesses will be raffled, including lunch for a year from Austin’s Homestead, a hair cut at Windsor’s new Studio C, one round of golf at Pelican Lakes, Colorado Eagles’ memorabilia, a gift certificate to Li’l Flower Shop and other items.
Raffle tickets are $5. Cost is $10 per person to taste the chili and $50 per team to compete. The cost for children 16 and younger to taste the chili is $5, and there is no cost for children 6 and younger.
