Windsor’s Sean Glenn verbally commits to play football at South Dakota

Staff reports

Windsor High School senior Sean Glenn verbally committed to play football for the University of South Dakota, according to his website.

The website said that Glenn, a defensive end for the Wizards, made an official visit to Vermillion, S.D., recently and committed to the school where he plans to major in pre-med.

Glenn was named the Wizards' defensive lineman of the year and was an all-state and all-conference selection in 2012. He had 7.5 sacks, 69 tackles, two blocked punts and six hurries on the quarterback.

South Dakota is a Division I Football Championship Subdivision program, formerly known as Division I-AA, that plays in the Missouri Valley Conference.

The Coyotes were 1-10, 0-8 in conference play, in 2012 and are coached by former University of Northern Colorado and Wyoming head coach Joe Glenn, no relation to Sean.
