In 10 days, Weld County's best and brightest athletes will gather for the fourth annual Greeley Tribune Best Preps banquet, which honors the standout players and coaches from the 18 schools in the county.
It'll take place at 6:30 p.m. May 24 at the Grand Ballroom of the University Center on the University of Northern Colorado's campus, 2101 10th Ave.
The keynote speaker will be Tad Boyle, the men's basketball coach at the University of Colorado. He led Greeley Central to a state title in 1981 and was previously the head coach at the University of Northern Colorado.

The Tribune revealed the fall sports nominees early in April; spring athletes are hard at work building their resumes, and the Tribune's sports staff has been debating the fall and winter winners for some time.
With that in mind, here are the Windsor High School nominees. Nominees are submitted by coaches and athletic directors.
