WRESTLING

Windsor wins Pool B at Rocky Mountain Duals: In Fort Collins, The Wizards rolled to victory behind undefeated days by five wrestlers.

Ronny Minjarez at 113, Dominick Serrano at 120, Cody Eaton at 132, Chris Sandoval at 138 and Josh Willis at 145 all finished the day perfect on Windsor's way to a 4-0 record.

Greeley West also competed in Pool B, finishing fifth. Jesus Vasquez at 106 and Xavier Vasquez at 182 both won three of their four matches on the day.

GIRLS SWIMMING

Thornton — Windsor placed eighth at the Mustang Invitational on Saturday at the Veterans Memorial Aquatic Center as Fossil Ridge easily earned first place.

The Wizards placed fourth in the 400-yard freestyle relay behind Grace Drake, Rilea Driscoll, Jocelyn Petersen and Hunter Waterman. The team also placed fifth in the 200 medley relay behind Richelle Witt, Waterman, Petersen and Driscoll.

Waterman, a junior, placed fourth in the 100 breaststroke. She also placed fifth in the 50 freestyle, touching the wall just more than half a second behind the first-place swimmer.

Windsor sophomore Makena Sanger placed fourth in 1-meter diving with a score of 389.655.

Valley placed 20th at the invitational, which featured 23 teams.
