Aims Community College had its accreditation renewed for 10 years, the maximum allowable period, by the Higher Learning Commission earlier this week, the college announced in a news release.

In the release, Aims President Leah Bornstein called the renewal a "college-wide success" and congratulated students, staff and faculty for their roles in making it happen.

"We have much to celebrate as we look forward to the future and continue the strategic work we do to build a stronger community," Bornstein said.
