The new Dutch Bros. parking lot was full for much of the day Thursday, as the new coffee shop opened for the first time.

The building has been under construction since January, said franchise owner Nate Frary, so it felt good to be open.

"It's very fulfilling and awesome," he said. "We're just super stoked that people showed up."

He hopes even more will come out for the business's grand opening Tuesday, where they'll be offering 16 oz. drinks for free.

Dutch Bros. is open from 5 a.m. to 10 p.m. Sunday-Thursday, and 5 a.m. to 11 p.m. Friday-Saturday, at 901 Main St., the former site of Big Burger and several car dealerships.

The business has added more than 20 jobs to Windsor, and Frary said many of his employees live in the town.

The Windsor location is the third Frary has opened in northern Colorado, with the first in Fort Collins and the second in Loveland. Frary previously said he is working to open a location in Greeley and other areas in northern Colorado.
