Drivers in the Milliken area can expect major delays beginning Monday through May along Colo. 257 and Colo. 60 while crews repair damage from the 2013 floods.

The Colorado Department of Transportation announced the project, in a news release. Construction crews will build a temporary traffic diversion along Colo. 257 while crews work to repair the damage. Colo. 60 will be closed from mile markers 11 and 12, requiring drivers to detour around the construction along Weld County roads 13, 50 and 17, according to the release.

CDOT Project Manager Nicki Upright said in the release CDOT officials decided not to close Colo. 257 during the work period after speaking with area residents and business owners.
