Envision is the community centered board serving Weld County, one of 20 such entities in Colorado. The organization began in 1964 when it was incorporated as the Weld County Community Center Foundation (WCCCF). The WCCCF was forged to deinstitutionalize people with developmental disabilities and provide community based services. In 1973, WCCCF established its first residential program. By 1986, the agency's name changed to Centennial Developmental Services, Inc and again to Envision, Creative Support for People with Developmental Disabilities in 2004.
Every year, Envision provides case management and person-centered services that support more than 1,300 children and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities or delays and their families.
