January 24, 2018
The Greeley Recreation Center will get tropical this weekend in preparation for a "Hawaiian Luau" Father Daughter Dance.
The first dance begins at 6 p.m. Friday at the Greeley Recreation Center, 651 10th Ave. The second dance starts at 1 p.m. Saturday, with a final dance at 6 p.m. Saturday. All dances, made to fit various fathers' and daughters' schedules, will be held at the Greeley Recreation Center, 651 10th Ave.
All ages are invited to the dance, which includes light refreshments, a professional photo and a flower presentation. In advance, tickets are $40 per couple and $10 for each additional daughter. Tickets can be purchased online at MyGreeleyRec.com, by phone at (970) 350-4000 or in person at the recreation center or the Family FunPlex, 1501 65th Ave. Tickets can be purchased at the door the day of the event for $45 per couple, according to a release from the recreation center.
"Photo booth props and cutouts will be available for selfie opportunities, beautiful flower arrangements on the tables with refreshments and sponsor booths throughout the lobby. It truly is a magical transformation of our building," Andrea Haring, a special events supervisor at the recreation center, stated in the release. "We really enjoy the anticipation of the dance each year. There's nothing better than seeing dads with their daughters, it really is a special memory that they share."
