Library too small to provide programs residents deserve

Windsor needs a new library.

Our current library has served this community well, but it is just too small to continue providing the excellent programs at the level that Clearview District residents deserve. The planning process for a new building has been extensive and included many public meetings as well as meetings with library staff and architects, builders and community representatives. All meetings have been open forums to provide complete transparency.

All funds used to support the campaign have been donated and reported to the state as per election regulations. All library budgeting and financial reports are also public records. Therefore, the library and those supporting the new library are openly accountable.

The growth this community is experiencing now is unprecedented, and we have a chance to contribute to the quality of life we have here. The opportunity to provide free programs for all ages, to have cutting edge technology, and to have enough space for toddlers, teens, seniors, and everyone in between is a goal that most members of our communities desire.

Please remember to turn in you ballot by Nov. 7, and thank you for recognizing the importance of maintaining the culture of excellence in our communities.
