'Reflection' art exhibit opens in Windsor Oct. 12
The Windsor Art and Heritage Center will hold an opening reception for the juried art exhibition, "Reflection," from 5-7 p.m. Oct. 14.
Based on the poetry of Henry David Thoreau, "Reflection" brings together artists from across the region in the mediums of paint, mixed media, photography and poetry and will stay on display Oct. 12 through Nov. 12, stated a news release from the town of Windsor.
The exhibit will open to the public Wednesdays through Saturdays from noon to 4 p.m. at the Art and Heritage Center, 116 5th Street, Windsor.
The juried art competition was made possible by Suzette McIntyre and the Boardwalk Park Gallery of Windsor, according to the release. Winners of the exhibition will be published in the "Words and Images Coffee Table Book" by Hot Chocolate Press. Exhibited artwork can be purchased at the exhibit through Boardwalk Gallery.
