Scouts of Windsor Food Drive Nov. 12

The Boy Scouts of Windsor are partnering with the Cub Scouts and Girl Scouts of Windsor to collect non-[erishables and canned food for the Windsor Severance Food Pantry.

Boy, Girl and Cub Scouts of Windsor will be having their annual Scouting For Food on Nov. 12.

Donations of non-perishables and canned goods will be collected to help restock the shelves at the Windsor Food Pantry. All donations collected by the Scouts stay in Windsor to be given out by the food pantry to families and individuals in need in Windsor Severance school district.

In a news release, the Scouts ask that donors do not donate expired food, as it must be throw out by law.

Donations can be left on your porch or driveway by 8 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 12 for pick-up by the Scouts. If donations are accidentally missed, they may be dropped off weekday mornings, Tuesday-Friday, at the Windsor Food Pantry at Faith United Church of Christ, 1020 Walnut Street.
