BOYS TENNIS

The Wizards continued their season of domination with a 6-1 win against Skyline on Monday.

The No. 2 doubles team of Andrew Fischer and Kieran Joe had the only match that went into a third set against Skyline, and the duo was victorious after they dropped the first set, 4-6. The No. 1 doubles pair of Max McManigal and Blake Pendleton didn't drop a game to Skyline's duo of Samuel Narvaez and Lucas Payne.

Windsor 14, Mead 2: In Mead, the Wizards started slow but came on strong with eight runs in the top of the third.

Sophomore Alyssa Lecroy hit 4 for 5 with a pair of RBI with a double.

Junior Bryn Horton hit 3 for 4 with a triple and RBI.

Windsor improved to 7-4 in 4A Tri-Valley play, 9-5 overall.

Berthoud 3, Windsor 0: In Berthoud, Windsor lost big in the first set and couldn't recover. The Wizards "lacked consistency" from the start of the match, coach LaVerne Huston said.

Huston added that the team continued to struggle defensively, and that and its inconsistent passing doomed it despite a close second set.

Windsor is 2-4 4A Tri-Valley League, 4-7 overall.

Windsor 3, Frederick 1: In Frederick, the Wizards received a little bit of everything from their entire roster in a 4A Tri-Valley Conference road victory.

"The win was a total team effort," Windsor coach LaVerne Huston said in an email. "Ally Kennis controlled the net and Samantha Greene, Madi Bruen and Karlie Sorensen provided the offensive punch."

Brenna Garrett and Ellie Garrett combined for 45 assists.
