This week’s Law and Order features another case of stolen Donald Trump signs
October 15, 2016
Bad first date:
At 4 p.m. Oct. 9, an officer was dispatched by phone to a call from the 700 block of 2nd Street on a report of harassment. The officer spoke to a woman who said she had gone on one date with a man she met at a coffee shop. After the first date, she declined his offer to go on a second one, and ever since he has called several times daily saying she is "in denial" and "will come around to date him again." Police could not do much for her, because she didn't know anything about the man other than his first name, and his phone number had been disconnected. She changed her cell phone number, and was advised to contact the police if she sees the man again. Campaign sign thieves:
At 1:29 p.m. Oct. 7, an officer was dispatched to the 1500 block of Pintail cove. A woman reported that she had seen teenagers riding around in a golf cart stealing Donald Trump campaign signs from yards. The officer was unable to find the golf cart or teenagers, but did see a Trump sign crinkled up in a yard. No one reported a sign being stolen from their property, however, and the case is closed.
