Neighbor shuts garage door, accidentally sets off alarm

At 8:27 a.m. Sept. 8, police were dispatched to the 200 block of Cattail Bay because an alarm company reported a side door of a garage activated the alarm. The officer spoke with the homeowner who said his wife left the garage door open and a neighbor went in, closed the garage door and exited through the side door, which activated the alarm. The man said it was OK for the neighbor to do that as they watch the house for them on occasion.

Man and woman fall asleep in truck bed while stargazing: At 8:19 a.m. Sept 6, police were dispatched to the 600 block of Dakota Way on a reports of two people sleeping in the back of a pickup truck. The officer contacted the man and the woman in the back of the truck and they said they had fallen asleep while watching the stars. The officer told them they needed to move along.
