Windsor Re-4 and Windsor Community Foundation among those honored at Community Foundation Annual Profiles Luncheon

In celebration of Community Foundation Week, the Community Foundation Serving Greeley and Weld County hosted its annual Profiles Luncheon on Nov. 15 at the University of Northern Colorado. The foundation recognized and thanked friends and donors of the Community Foundation.
This year's program featured speaker C. Stephen Saunders, who served as author James Michener's attorney during the last several years of Mr. Michener's life. He has also served on the University of Northern Colorado Libraries Development Board.
Community Foundation President and CEO Rand E. Morgan announced the Poudre Learning Center Foundation won the 2016 Endowment Challenge.
Ray Tschillard from the center accepted the award and the challenge to raise $10,000 which, once reached, will be matched by funds from the foundation. In addition, the foundation also announced the Windsor Community Foundation and the Fort Lupton Community Foundation, each met the goals of their endowment challenge and will receive $10,000 in matching funds.
As a kick-off to help celebrate the Community Foundation's 20th Anniversary in 2017, the first round of grant recipients from the Foundation's Making Your Wish 20th Anniversary Grant program were announced. These winners will be receiving up to $2,000 for an event that supports community participation, involvement and inclusion.
