Windsor recieves No. 1 seed in Class 4A soccer state tournament

Windsor got the No. 1 seed and will face off against No. 32 Conifer in the first round of the Class 4A soccer state championships at 5 p.m. May 5 in Windsor.

The Wizards spent the majority of the season as the No. 1-ranked team and finished 14-0-1.

Their one tie came in an early-season matchup at Silver Creek, who is seeded fifth.

Windsor has advanced to the final four of the last three state tournaments, falling in the semifinals in each.

Northridge finished the season ranked No. 32 in RPI, but was left out in favor of George Washington and Conifer, ranked No. 46 and 47, respectively.
