Wrestling team wins Arnold Torgerson Invite; girls swimming takes 2nd at Mountain View Invite

Windsor placed second in Mountain View Invitational: In Loveland, Windsor (298 points) had a superb showing, placing second behind Cherry Creek (444.5).
The quartet of Erin Eccleston, Hunter Waterman, Lainey Horton and Jocelyn Petersen won the 200 medley relay with a 5A-qualifying time of 1:56.01.
Eccleston won the 100 backstroke with a 5A-qualifying time of 1:02.83 and was third in the 100 butterfly with a 5A-qualifying time of 1:02.45.
Waterman placed second in the 50 freestyle with a 5A-qualifying time of 25.12 seconds. She also placed second in the 100 freestyle with a 5A-qualifying time of 55.46.
Wizards diver Makena Sanger was fourth in 1-meter diving with a score of 399.17.
Kyndal Waterman (1:14.03) placed third in the 100 breaststroke with a 4A-qualifying time, and Aria Witt (1:15.45) was fourth in the same event with a 4A-qualifying time of her own.
The Windsor team of Eccleston, Lainey Horton, Jocelyn Petersen and Hunter Waterman was second in the 400 freestyle relay with a 5A-qualifying time.

Windsor wins Arnold Torgerson Invitational: In Fort Collins, Windsor scored 207.5 points to place first, and Eaton scored 83.5 to finish seventh in the 18-team tournament.
The Wizards placed well ahead of second-place Broomfield (144).
Roosevelt (67.5) finished ninth, and Greeley West (7) was 18th.
Windsor had 10 placewinners, including five champions: Jacob Parker (106), Will Vombaur (120), Dominick Serrano (126), Isaiah Salazar (170) and Victor Bravo (heavyweight).
Ariel Rodriguez (2nd, 138), Braeson Lewis (4th, 170), Jake Sandau (2nd, 195) and Jeremy Murano (4th, heavyweight) placed for Eaton.
"After a long break, it's nice to get back on the mat and get some competition going so we can see what we need to work on," Reds coach Tony Mustari said. "Overall, I think we did pretty well competing with those bigger schools, but I think there's a lot of room for improvement."
